Deep Rest Workshop

Give your nervous system a deep rest

Restorative yoga differs from most other styles of yoga in that acts mostly on the nervous system, using props to support poses where the focus shifts to the breathing and to an inner observation. Forget the sweat and effort, the magic will happen with a quietness and comfort that rarely we allow ourselves to experience in our life.

Breath

Give yourself the chance to explore your breath, so fundamental for our life, yet often neglected.

Comfort

In restorative yoga, where is no challenging stretch, hard balance or show of strength. The challenge will be to abandon the need to strive that we have developed in our society.

Body awareness

Our body is rich in mechanisms to alert us that we need to act. Starting from a place of peace we can learn them and get in control of our triggers for stress.

Modern yet traditional

Restorative yoga is a relatively recent style, stemming from the work of B.K.S. Iyengar. But it relies on millennial history of practices on calming the chaotic human lives.
