About me

My yoga journey started in 2009, soon after moving to the UK, and from the first class, where I struggled sitting with legs straight, it has been a journey of reconnection with my own body and discovery.

I began a regular Ashtanga practice, travelled to Mysore, and completed a 2-year British Wheel of Yoga accredited teacher training with Anna Ashby and Joey Miles in 2017. I have been blessed with many exceptional teachers, and I keep practicing under the guidance of Donna Southwell.

Whilst teaching in Manchester and Preston, I explored other yoga styles to complement my practice and found in Restorative Yoga the key to support me with my insomnia and high stress levels. I trained with Anna Ashby and Chris Swain in teaching Restorative Yoga in 2022 and since I have been teaching a monthly Deep Rest workshop.

Alongside yoga I love nature, hiking and travelling, have visited several countries (many more than once) with my trustworthy tent and not-so-trustworthy boots.

I have always been a learner and for most of my life I have also been a teacher. I cannot help but share what positive I discover. Finding in massage a release for accumulated tension and a relief for migraine, I trained as Ayurvedic Yoga Massage Therapist in 2023.

I hope to be able to share with you all that yoga gave me in my life.
